The Splitter II Gloves from Outdoor Research were developed by climbing legend Hans Florine and tested on Yosemite's granite. A very minimalist design was chosen. Durable and synthetic suede is wrapped around the hand of the Splitter II and covered with an anti-slip coating. This provides optimum protection for the back of your hand when climbing. The palm, on the other hand, remains open so that you have a secure grip when climbing. They are equipped with finger loops and a wrist strap for an optimal and secure fit.
