The Petzl Spirit Screw-Lock carabiner weighs less than 50 grams and impresses with its good breakage values, compact, easy-to-handle shape and proven secure locking system. Thanks to the Screw-Lock locking system, it is easy to check whether the carabiner is also properly locked; when properly locked, the red marking should no longer be visible. The H-shaped cross-section ensures reduced weight while maintaining stability. On the one hand, the compact shape allows the rope to run more smoothly, thus reducing wear on the carabiner material. On the other hand, the compact shape makes the Spirit Screw-Lock carabiner easy to handle at the belay. If you want to sacrifice every gram, but not a bit of safety, the Spirit Screw-Lock is a good choice.
