The Tikka from Petzl is a compact headlamps with a light output of 350 lumens, a long length and a wide beam. It is particularly strong in proximity - the wide beam angle provides a large, comfortable field of vision. Its phosphorescent reflector is practical for finding the lamp quickly in the dark and its red light also prevents you from blinding other people in the group. With a single switch, you can choose between the light color and the three different light levels: Proximity, Locomotion and Far Vision. The Tikka is a hybrid lamp - it can be operated either with the three AAA batteries supplied or with the separately available CORE rechargeable battery.
