The Powder BT from Pieps is a reliable avalanche transceiver that is always up to date. Thanks to the wireless connection option, you can easily configure and independently update your avalanche transceivers via Bluetooth and the Pieps app. The avalanche transceivers impress with a maximum circular range of 60 meters and a search strip width of 60 meters. Three antennas ensure pinpoint location and a multiple spill display as well as the reliable and fast marking function are just as helpful. With the auto-search-to-send function, the Powder BT automatically switches to send mode if you get caught in an avalanche yourself. In the event of interference from electronic or metallic objects, the Powder BT automatically switches to one of the other antennas - so you always have maximum power in transmit mode. The device checks its functionality with the self-test and the avalanche transceivers are equipped with a simple group test function for the start of every tour. With the alkaline batteries supplied, the Powder BT is ready for use for at least 200 hours in transmit mode. If this is not enough, you can increase the operating time to at least 300 hours with lithium batteries. It is best to wear the avalanche transceivers in the carrying system.
