The crash-resistant outer shell has an extended shell design with MIPS system, which is supported by the reinforced EPS liner and its unibody construction. With MIPS, the foil that allows twisting between the helmet shell and head to prevent injuries to the spine and brain disappears from the inside of the helmet. Instead of the foil, a two-part foam made from two different materials keeps rotational forces away from the head and spine. This foam can move independently of the outer shell and head in the event of an impact. At the same time, the construction allows an increased supply of fresh air.
