The F1 LT from Scarpa has inherited the ascent DNA of the Alien RS: very light (990 grams per shoe), incredible rotation of the shaft (72 degrees) and an athletic fit (100 millimeter last).
However, with the F1 LT, Scarpa has managed to take the downhill performance of a light shoe to the next level. This is made possible by the 3D Lambda frame - a kind of skeleton on the shell and shaft - and the Carbon Grilamid LFT material.
Both increase flex and torsional rigidity while reducing shell thickness, resulting in higher strength and lower weight. The progressive flex is probably unique in this weight class. This ensures precise control of the skiing.
The Gaiter Shell construction dispenses with a fixed tongue and is instead equipped with the waterproof Lite Shield Tech fabric, which effectively prevents snow from penetrating. At the same time, the Boa Fit System over the foot, a single Fast Buckle Closure buckle on the leg and the Velcro Power Strap above it provide the best possible hold and guarantee even pressure distribution - without pressure points. All three can be adjusted quickly, individually and precisely.
The Speed Lock LT ski walk mechanism allows you to set three different forward lean positions - efficiently and quickly. This makes switching between ascent and descent child's play.
The Intuition Tour LT inner shoe ensures a precise yet comfortable fit. The liner is thermoformable and therefore customizable. Your feet stay warm and without pressure points even during long periods of use.
On the underside of the F1 Lite, the Vibram UFO LT sole offers maximum grip and sensitivity on rock with large, self-cleaning grooves. The right shoes for demanding uphill and downhill conditions.
