With the Women's R-Evolution GTX from Scarpa, you can get high up the mountains comfortably and (hopefully) without blisters. The ankle-high waterproof boot is comfortable to wear thanks to Scarpa's Sock-Fit technology and is pleasantly padded at the ankle. The waterproof suede leather is supported by the waterproof Gore-Tex lining. The medium-hard polyurethane midsole cushions your steps but keeps you feeling comfortable, and the Vibram sole can do it all: brakes, dampers, stays on the trail and cleans the tread itself. You still have to walk and lace yourself, although at least the lacing is quick.
