The Rapid GTX from Scarpa in the men's version is all about lightness and speed on mountain trails and approaches. The synthetic upper material has a thermoplastic polyurethane film and is waterproof thanks to the GORE-TEX® membrane, without sacrificing breathability. The EVA midsole provides the right amount of damping on the trail and the TPU activity provides stability and torsion control to make the Rapid GTX a good approach shoe, which is also helped by the climbing zone of the Vibram sole. With the Rapid GTX, you'll be so fast that even the wind won't be able to follow you!
