The Ultra-Sil Nano Tarp Poncho from Sea to Summit is extremely versatile. It can be used as a poncho to protect against wind or rain, as an emergency bivy bag, rain cover or tarp, windbreak, ground pad, tarpaulin, rucksack cover and much more. It weighs a straight 230 grams. It is made from a very light yet robust nylon material with a polyurethane coating on the inside and a silicone coating on the outside. The fully water-repellent material is double-stitched and all seams are taped. The adjustable, double-stitched hood has a drawstring and a wide brim. The rain poncho can be put on and taken off quickly and also fits over a backpack thanks to its generous cut. If you are wearing it without a backpack, you can shorten the back length using the drawstring. You should always have it with you in case the sky darkens. Packed small in the packsack, it fits well in any backpack. It has fastening loops at all corners for use as a tarpaulin or tarp. Perfect for travel, trekking and even in warm climates.
