If you've grown up on the slopes and just can't get to grips with touring boots, but still want to keep all your options open, the Chochise is the perfect choice.
The Chochise 130 DYN GW is an uncompromising freeride shoe, but thanks to the shaft rotation and inserts, it can handle shorter ascents. As befits a proper alpine boot, the Chochise is made from a very high-quality PU that can be injection-molded with very thin walls. The advantage of PU is its perfect flex properties. While Grilamid tends to be stubborn, PU is much more dynamic. The Chochise therefore has a lively rebound, which has a positive effect when cornering. The real reason why we chose the Chochise for our hybrid boots (ski boots with touring function) is the most important reason of all: the fit. The shell and liner are particularly ergonomically pre-shaped and feel very comfortable despite the sporty 99mm width. As befits a freeride shoe, the liner is quite thick and can be easily thermoformed. If that's not enough, the shell can be pressed out at the quasi-perforated areas. A boot for real skiers who are prepared to walk a few meters for the perfect powder slope.
