When it's time for the really big things, the Base Camp Duffel XL from The North Face comes into its own. It offers 132 liters of volume and can, at least theoretically, still be carried with the removable shoulder straps. The travel bag is made from water-repellent, abrasion-resistant PVC, while the even more robust base is made from polyamide. All seams are double stitched. The D-shaped, water-repellent zip is hidden under a cover for safety. And it makes it easy for you to search your luggage. Inside, mesh bags help you keep things tidy and prevent dirt from getting everywhere. On the outside, you'll find a water-repellent bag for ID cards and other items, as well as various gear loops and compression straps. And so that you can share the load, the Base Camp Duffel XL has two padded handles.
