The Uphill 8 from Vaude has space inside for eight liters or up to four kilograms of luggage. For the main material, Vaude uses a technology that extracts oil from plastics that are difficult to recycle and feeds it back into the polyamide production system in a certified mass balancing process. The resulting sustainable polyamide is just as functional as conventional polyamide, but saves around 60 percent of CO2 emissions during production! The light yet durable ripstop nylon fabric also has a silicone and polyurethane coating, which makes it relatively impervious to weather conditions. Should the worst come to the worst, the integrated rain cover comes into play. The carrying system and shoulder straps allow air to reach the skin. The multifunctional lacing takes care of your helmet or hiking poles, but is also suitable for stowing a jackets or simply for compression for the perfect fit. Other important items can be stored in the stretch side pocket, the side zip pocket or the front zip pocket. The hip belt is removable, giving you full flexibility. The Uphill is climate-neutral, environmentally friendly and fairly produced. A very well thought-out, light backpack for fast tours.
