The Revo from Wild Country is a safety device that attempts to combine the respective advantages of tubers and semi-automatic devices in one device. The biggest advantage is that the rope cannot be hooked in incorrectly and the device locks in both directions. The automatic system only serves as a backup and reacts with a slight delay. If the Revo jams when the rope is released too quickly, the mechanism can be released again with a short pull on the brake rope.
