Hire winter sports equipment
In all our stores, we can offer you avalanche safety equipment and snowshoes for hire. And in our Markthalle Bern, Lucerne and Zurich Europaallee stores, you can find an even wider winter equipment range – hire touring skis, including skins, crampons and touring ski boots.
Hire Service
Get equipment on short-term loan – all our stores hire out snowshoes, while the Bern, Lucerne and Zurich stores additionally offer touring skis. We can also lend you climbing equipment. If you decide to buy the product after the rental period, we will deduct up to two rental days from the sales price.
Large skiing test range: in our Zurich Europaallee store, along with our hire range we also offer a large, extended test range with over 50 skis from current collections.

Hire Process: How it works
Reservation: Would you like to rent equipment from us? Please complete all the necessary information on the rental form and send us your rental request. We will check whether the desired equipment is available and get back to you as soon as possible.
Collection: Bring valid ID to collect your hire equipment in your Transa store from 2 pm on the day before the hire starts. We will be happy to show you how the equipment works when you pick it up, if necessary.
Return: Return the equipment to the branch where you collected it by 2 pm on the day after the hire ends.
