Holes, zips and seams in clothing, as well as faults with backpacks, tents, camping mats, sleeping bags, cookers, water filters and much more – it’s worth asking. Just bring your faulty product to us.

We can repair your outdoor or travel equipment even if you didn’t buy it from us – and even if it’s a brand that we don’t carry.

We always charge for repairs according to the damage. Some repairs take longer and are more complicated than others. We can only judge this when we’ve seen your product. The price also depends on your expectations regarding the solution. That’s why we look at the possible solutions with you directly and make a cost estimate.

Repair prices

As a rough guide, here are some examples for a down jacket:
Gluing a hole/tear: from CHF 10
Topstitch open seams: approx. 25 CHF
Replacing an entire zip: from CHF 130
Replacing the zip slider: approx. CHF 15

Are the trousers you bought slightly too long? Or do you want an extra pocket on one side? We care as much about the fit and functionality of your outdoor clothing as you do. If it doesn’t fit, our professionals will make it fit.

Shortening trousers or sleeves: from CHF 35

Faulty stitching and resoling: together with our suppliers we can offer you new soles. Your broken-in hiking boots will be almost as good as new, and you can get a new grip on your climbing shoes.

We specialise in repairing Spatz tents. We also repair large group tents for scout groups, Cevi groups or your personal tent, as well as awnings, tarps and canvas.

Simply bring your Spatz tent to a Transa store or to the repair workshop. You can also send it to us by post. Just fill out the delivery note (german). Return postage for the repaired tent will cost CHF 15.

Spatz tent repair

A tear in the fabric, a broken zip or a torn eyelet – we can find a solution for almost anything. In addition to the repair service, we also offer a washing and waterproofing service. The services are suitable for cotton tents of all types and brands, up to a weight of 20 kilograms.

Spare parts

A tent peg is missing, a tent pole was lost or the inner tent needs to be replaced? We produce and supply spare parts for Spatz tents and can also find a solution for other cotton tents.
